Karen Compton has over 15 years of experience in the architecture/engineering and construction (A/E/C) industry, and has served as Director of Business Development and Director of Marketing for small companies, mid-sized, multi-office firms and national and international corporations.

Ms. Compton’s focused approach to business and business development is based on a thorough understanding of the A/E/C environment and needs and expectations of the client. Her integrated approach of business management and business development has resulted in increased revenues of as much as 20% and the alignment of long- and short-term business goals and objectives for a variety of firms.
+ Bob Kain, AIA + ACHA
As Healthcare Strategist, Bob Kain has over 30 years of experience in architecture, construction management and urban planning with an emphasis on healthcare design. As the former Managing Principal of a national architecture practice, Bob was responsible for the management of several million square feet of replacement health centers. Active in the business community and architecture industry, Bob is a founding member of the American College of Healthcare Architects and a Board member the Office of Statewide Hospital Planning & Design Hospital Safety Board.

Ms. Dantzler holds Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration from University of LaVerne and an HR Management Certificate from Cal State University Pomona. She brings over 13 years of diverse human resource and management experience. Her focus is helping public and private sector organizations develop and implement human resources strategies in the areas of recruitment and retention, performance management, diversity, employee relations, policies and procedures, leadership development, training and organizational development, and Human Resource Information System (HRIS) applications.

Brandy Little has 20 years experience in marketing and business development for the A/E/C. Brandy lends her knowledge of the public sector to help A3K clients improve the return on investment of their business development efforts. Her experience building marketing departments from the ground up is also invaluable for creating effective processes and systems. Brandy’s resume includes:

Ms. Rainey holds a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University Fullerton in Economics and a minor in Communications. She has 10 years of experience in finance and accounting. Her areas of expertise include financial analysis, cash flow projection, tax analysis and invoice preparation. Ms. Rainey has 7 years of experience in the architecture/engineering and construction (A/E/C) industry, and has served as Manager of Finance and Accounting for nonprofit companies, and mid-sized organizations.

Having earned a Master of Fine Arts from Art Center College of Design in Communications and New Media, Michael has developed more than 18 years of working design experience. His collaborations include individuals, firms, and businesses with whom he works to visually and effectively communicate their mission through comprehensive identity packages that include branding, graphic and marketing, websites, and video. His background includes a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Southern California and more than 8 years of professional practice experience that allows him to strategically support A/E/C firms in the creation of their visual identities for the competitive marketplace.
